TVH EQUIPMENT BUILDS ON 360° SERVICE

10/14/2021 - TVH EQUIPMENT BUILDS ON 360° SERVICE

TVH EQUIPMENT has started the construction works for a new company building along the E17 that will be 'rounded off' in the autumn of 2023. Both the land and the buildings are planned for strategic growth in the coming years.

With this expansion, the specialist for rental, sales, training and service will be able to centralise all of its Waregem activities in one location.

"Today, at our Waregem site, we work from two locations and different buildings," says CEO Kristof Coudenys. "Centralising activities will enhance cooperation between our employees and the efficiency of our operations." The circular building, designed by DEMO+ Architects, will be constructed by the following contractors: Stadsbader and Willy Naessens Group.

It has almost 40 gates to facilitate the entry and exit of machines. The underground car park will be located in the basement, thus freeing up more space outside to store machines. The workshop occupies the lion's share of the ground floor, with the changing room, sanitary facilities and warehouse in the middle (so always easily accessible). The administration, sales and a multipurpose canteen are located on the top floor.

Futureproof

In the centre of the building there will be an inner garden. "An open consultation area, where informal meetings can take place," Kristof Coudenys explains. "This should simplify communication between the employees. The ring shape of the offices with an inner glass ring also ensures maximum visual contact. Furthermore, we are investing heavily in energy-saving techniques and are using a BEO field for heating and cooling.

Finally, thanks to the abundance of daylight coming in through the gates, less artificial light is needed in the workshop," concludes the CEO. In short, a prototype of a contemporary company building and something to look forward to for the employees... and the passers-by.
